Boudoir photography was never only for women.
It was just marketed that way.
It’s Your Turn
The vulnerability of being photographed intimately — of standing in front of a camera and deciding to be seen — doesn’t belong to one gender. It never did.
mIsFiTs Like ME photographs men. Solo sessions, intimate work, built around the same Sacred Authenticity framework that guides every session in this studio. Not a novelty. Not an afterthought. A full, respected, intentional offering for men who want to be witnessed honestly.
mIsFiTs Like ME was built without that default.
Not as a marketing position. As a conviction.
The person you are on Saturday night is just as worthy as the one you are Sunday morning. Every part of you. The parts the world celebrates and the parts it has asked you to hide.
We do boudoir. We do erotic. We do kink. We do art nude. We do identity work. We do couples and throuples and dynamics that don’t have names yet.
Plus you. Exactly as you are.
“The camera doesn’t care what the industry told you boudoir was for.“
Not performance. Not a gimmick. Just you.
That might mean a solo session that documents your physical presence at a specific moment in your life. It might mean something quieter — portraits that capture who you are when you’re not performing for anyone. It might mean something bolder — work that lives in the Provocative or Peerless spaces, built around your specific vision.
There is no default here. The session is built around you.

“I thought I was ready, but I didn’t realize how ready my soul was for this freedom.”
THIS IS AN ENTRY POINT, NOT A CEILING
Men belong in every room in this studio
The Men page exists because boudoir photography has historically been marketed as a women’s space — and that marketing has left a lot of people feeling like they needed permission to walk through a door that was always open.
Consider this the permission.
Men are welcome across the full range of what mIsFiTs Like ME offers:
Personal — Nearby: Solo intimate work. Boudoir in the classical sense, reframed for anyone who wants it.
Provocative — Unapologetic: Erotic photography. Kink and BDSM work. Sessions built around desire, power, and the aesthetics of both.
Peerless — Elevated: Art nude photography. The body as subject — serious, considered, built for someone who wants fine art rather than intimate portraiture.
Proud — Affirming: Identity photography. If you’re navigating gender, orientation, or simply want to be seen in a space that doesn’t flinch — this is that space.
You Plus: You and your people. Partners, throuples, any configuration. If you’re bringing others into the frame, You Plus is where that work lives.
The Men page is a starting point. Where you go from here is entirely up to you.
THE WITNESS
What it means to be witnessed.
The Industrial Gaze has a default setting for men in photography: strength, stoicism, performance of a particular kind of masculinity. The result is images that look like men rather than images that feel like the specific man in front of the camera.
The Witness works differently.
The Witness pays attention to what is actually there — the specific weight of your presence, the way you occupy space, what you look like when you’re not performing for anyone. That’s what we make together. Not an archetype. Not a performance. You
What to Expect
Sessions take place in our discreet studio in downtown Belleville, IL — private parking, private entrance, no waiting room shared with other clients.
Before your session you’ll complete a questionnaire that helps us understand your vision, your comfort levels, and what you want to walk away with. There are no wrong answers.
Direction during the session is minimal and intentional. We’re not choreographing a performance — we’re creating conditions for something real.
Comfort and consent are the architecture of how we work. If something doesn’t feel right, we stop. There is no shot worth your discomfort.
